PRINCE WINDMILL PALM (Trachycarpus princeps)

Standing out for the showy silver tone of the petiole and the underside of its leaves, this is undoubtedly the most exclusive and majestic of all the windmill palms. Discovered in 1993 on a few rocky cliffs in remote inland areas of China near the Burmese border, this palm has quickly become one of the most coveted by hardy palm enthusiasts and collectors, not least given its unique beauty.
