Use 25 cm pegs for palm trees with a stipe (trunk) diameter greater than 50 cm, for example non-skinned Phoenix canariensis. For most palms use 15cm pegs. Use two pegs per palm tree, except in P canariensis for which it is recommended to use three pegs per specimen.
